About Freddie
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Fluffy Freddie silky Bowie are two affectionate, snuggly and VERY loving little gentleman.
They were well loved by their previous owner but unfortabtely they had a change in living situation and could no longer look after them so they made the painful decision to reach out to us to find them a new home. They come from a loving household and have a lot of love to give.
Both boys are VERY loving, very affectionate and very affectionate snuggly. They enjoy a pat and a scratch, love a cuddle and absolutely adore people. They love to sit on a lap and curl up in bed with you. Freddie would happily curl up on your lap and stay there all day if he could, while Bowie is more independent during the day would live on your lap if you sat down long enough! Bowie is more independent during the day and will come find you when he's in the mood for a smooch.
They typically only eat dry food, from a bowl that they share, which they graze on during the day but can become very animated if something out of the ordinary is on the menu. They particularly like the "Greenies" treats. Both boys do love their wet food but their previous vet had said they were becoming overweight so their owners switched to a "weight management' dry only diet.
Bowie has a slightly embarrassing fetish, kinda like a puppy, and REALLY likes chewing cables. His previous owners learned that the hard way and had to keep all electricidal cables ( headphones cords, phone chargers, lamp cords) tucked away otherwise he would try to chew it. Fortunately he doesn't swallow anything.
Outside of that they are genuinely beautiful loving and smoochy boys.
We would love to find them a nice quiet home with someone who can appreciate a pair of super affectionate little gentlemen. A home with a pair of retirees who are searching for a pair of lap cats would be perfect. Otherwise a home with an older family would be great too.
We would prefer to find them a home without other pets but, like most cats, we're sure they could adapt over time with slow and gradual introductions.
A loud house with loud children is out of the question as they can be a bit nervous around loud noises and sudden movements.
If you're looking for a pair of super affectionate fluffy balls of love to keep you company while you watch your favorite show or curl up in bed then Freddie and Bowie are the cats for you.
Freddie and Bowie are approximately 7 years old and have been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and are available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide these gorgeous little souls with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with them.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
