About Mia
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Mia is a sweet and affectionate little lady with a big heart, a gentle soul and a lot to love to give. Like most Bengals she is very gentle, very loving and absolutely adores people.
Mia was well loved by her previous family but sadly they had a change in living situation which lead to a stressful household and Mia was unable to settle in this environment. So as much as they loved her, Mia's family recognized that she was unhappy and that they could no longer give her the love she deserved, so they reached out to us to find her a new home. She comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.
She did not take at all long to settle into her new foster home. It's as if she walked into this new quiet space, was able to take a breath, start to relax and let her beautiful personality begin to assert itself again.
Mia enjoys a pat and a scratch, loves a cuddle and will happily curl up with you on the couch when you're watching your favourite TV show. She becomes particularly affectionate in the evening once the house begins to quiet and everyone starts to wind down.
She is very talkative and has many different types of meows that she will use when communicating with you. She is naturally very boisterous and chatty when it is food time but when you acknowledge her and she realizes she has your attention, her voice softens. She is a big fan of wet food but is happy to have a nibble on the dry.
Like most Bengals she can also be a bit precious and really does not enjoy loud noises. She does not like loud children and would be best suited to a softly spoken home. While Mia doesn’t mind other pets, she prefers them to be quiet and gentle like herself.
Mia likes to go outside occasionally and warm herself in the sun but only if you are around to keep her company, otherwise she will quickly head back inside. She is the type of cat that would love to accompany you while you do you chores and will never be far away. If you're gardening she will sit near by sunning herself or if you're hanging out the washing she will keep an eye on you to make sure you're doing it correctly. She is the type of cat that would happily accompany you to the mailbox and back in the morning, without the desire to run off and explore.
Mia’s favourite toy is “Bumble Bee” (a little bee attached to fishing line on a stick) and loves to climb the couch as she tries to chase it. At bedtime, Mia loves a pat on the head, before she snuggles up in her bed in her warm room on those cold winter days and nights.
She also enjoys burying herself under a doona and will happily stay there for hours.
We would love to find Mia a nice quiet home where she can relax and shower you with love. A young couple or a quiet family with older kids would be perfect.
Mia is approximately 9 years old, has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated, comes with her pedigree card and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
