Medical note: James has a Keratin horn growing underneath his front left paw. It’s most likely an adaption for his missing toe. The horn can be trimmed by a vet if needed.

ABOUT
James came into care full of confidence. From the start, he wanted to play with every cat and kitten he met—though he had to learn to tone his energy down a little! Over time, he’s become a great group player and still takes every chance to be 100% playful when he’s not sleeping or eating.
Earlier in his young life, something happened to one of his paws. The vet isn’t sure exactly what, but James is missing a toe and his dewclaw didn’t fully form on his left front paw. This hasn’t slowed him down at all—he’s adapted beautifully. Sometimes he tucks his weaker paw in when sitting, or balances on his stronger right front paw, but otherwise he’s just as active and agile as any kitten.
As James has grown, he’s also become more affectionate. He loves to follow you around the house and happily curls up on your lap whenever he gets the chance.
James is a beautiful, playful, and loving kitten. Whoever adopts him will gain a tiny best friend!
