About Tibi
Hi, I’m Tiberius but everyone calls me Tibi! I am a Pomeranian who is 8 years and 8 months old (I'm a Xmas day baby!)
Now you may have seen me up for adoption for a little while - it's because the rescue wants to make sure that i go to the home most suited for my needs.
I had a few meet and greets and the families were lovely but they were just not the absolute right fit - and moving forward the rescue believes that I will probably be best as an only dog as I do tend to get protective of my bed and also some times my human around other dogs.
Now I'll give you a minute to scroll thru my photos cause yeah, I am really as cute in real life as in my photos!!!
I have come into care as a retired breeding boy and let me just say I stole lots of hearts!
The rescue has not only made sure all my vet work including desexing has been completed but I did have some pretty yuck teeth so 9 have been removed and a scale and polish was completed and now I can turn my smile even higher in wattage!
I have taken to 'family life' very well - when I first came into care if I wanted attention or a pat I would lay on the ground and show my belly and wait for a human to approach me - now I just walk up to them and do it (my foster mum mumbles something about demands it) but she said that watching me ask for cuddles and pats with a twinkle in my eye is so cute.
I also love to be carried and will happily lay on my back and get tummy scratches while you walk around! I love to be pampered by my humans.
I have been super friendly with anyone I meet - and I know how to put the charm on when I need.
I love to just potter around the house either just been busy doing things or fast asleep in a round dog bed or on the couch! Please note I do require a backyard to have access too, to run around in .
I would be very happy to live out the rest of my life having access to dog beds, couches and humans' beds and be able to pick and choose which I want!
I am 2.8kgs and stand about 20cms high (from my shoulder to my paws) I'm a pocket pet!!!
I am currently in foster care with some other fur siblings and whilst I get on with all of them i do get grumpy with sharing a bed or sometimes my human so whilst i am dog friendly the rescue thinks it would be best for me to be a only child and have no others to share my dog bed.
I love to run around the back yard and do a zoomie from time to time and basically just gate crash what you're doing out there. The director and my foster mum say I'm the biggest photo bomber they have ever meet but I do it with a smile and a crazy run away!
I would be very happy as only dog
I love spending my time either sitting on your lap or just following you around – yep two really different things but that is how I roll.
I am happy to be left home alone while you're out and about doing things or work part time etc but I would miss you if you were gone 8+ hours a day.
While you're at work earning the money or buying the food for me, I'm happy to either wander about the house (inside and out), or sleep on the couch or the bed - I'll just chill and wait for you.
I do love a good ride and love to be high enough that I can see out the window.
I am learning to walk on a lead but it's very baby steps on that one - however I'm happy to be carried or even a stroller while you walk!
I am not cat tested
I am toilet trained
I do sleep in a crate at night (door opened) or a dog bed on the floor of my foster mum's room but would love to be able to sleep on the bed with you
I would prefer a home with kids over the age of 13 - just younger kids make me nervous and unsure.
I have a lovely fluffy coat that does require regularly grooming. I came into care with a few small knots, and the rescue got me groomed - I can look like a shrunken lion if my coat is not kept a top of...... I do enjoy a bath and a brush but why would I not - that's all part of my pampering love.
So, if you're looking for a fun little man who loves a cuddle, loves a carry around, loves to be part of your life and just a genuine happy boy - please click on the adoption link and hopefully we will meet really soon.

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
