Hi... um, I'm Mouse.

I'm not the first one to run up to the front of the enclosure or yell for attention - that's not really my style. Shelter life has been kind of overwhelming, and I'm still figuring out how to feel safe in all this noise and change.

But here's the secret: once I trust you... I melt. I really do. All it takes is some time, some gentleness, and a little patience. Let me come to you, let me learn your scent and your voice, and soon enough, I'll be leaning in for pets and purring like we've known each other forever.

I'm not looking for much - just a quiet home, kind hearts, and someone who understands that good things take time. I don't need you to rush me. I just need you to wait for me. I really love neck & behind the ear scratches - that the way to my heart.

If you've got a cozy corner and an open heart, I think we could really be something.
