Meet Carla, affectionately known as "Carla Bear," an adorable greyhound with a striking black coat and captivating brown eyes. This delightful and happy girl is ready to be your loyal companion, bringing heaps of affection into your life. Adaptable by nature, Carla has seamlessly transitioned into apartment living, spending her days lounging on the sofa. Whether you live in a cozy apartment or a spacious house, Carla will make herself right at home, so long as she's showered in love and attention.
She walks gracefully on a lead, curious about the world around her and enjoys friendly hellos from passing pedestrians. Carla is wonderfully toilet trained, holding it without any issues, also overnight.
Living in the city? That's no problem for Carla, who is adjusting well to the fast-paced environment of bustling streets, complete with cars, buses, bikes, and pedestrians. Her impeccable manners and affectionate nature make her a favorite among those who meet her while out and about, as she's always ready to share smiles and soak up friendly pats.
Carla can be independent, getting better with alone time, she responds very well to some gentle distractions like treats or enrichment toys if left alone for longer periods.
Her only request is a bit of patience as she settles into her new environment. Once she feels comfortable, her vocal nature, which sometimes expresses her thoughts through endearing quiet whines or whimpers, will diminish.

Adoption details
The adoption fee is $395 and includes desexing, C5 vaccination, muzzle and lifetime registration in NSW.
Once we found a potential match, the following will happen:
- Phone chat with one of the HBH coordinators
- Phone chat with the foster carer
- Meet and Greet with the foster carer and the dog
- Setting up your personal support group through FB messenger or Whatsapp with Foster Carer and HBH coordinators
- House visit (virtual during Covid)
- Paperwork and Adoption fee to be returned to HBH
- Trial start (2 weeks)
- Final adoption!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
