About Austin
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- garden to zoomie (then snooze)
- children over 12 years
Meet Austin Powers – the grooviest red fawn around!
Austin is the most beautiful red fawn greyhound, we’re yet to meet another quite as handsome as him! His endearing overbite earned him the nickname Austin Powers, and it suits him perfectly because he really is one groovy boy.
A true couch potato at heart, Austin loves nothing more than lounging about, but don’t be fooled, he still enjoys a playful zoomie, a game of tug-of-war, and has recently mastered the art of fetch. Someone with a small garden would be ideal so he can stretch his long legs when the mood strikes.
Austin has wonderful manners at home. He’s fully toilet trained, doesn’t chew, and travels beautifully in the car. He can be left alone for several hours and will likely be exactly where you left him when you get back (probably still snuggled up snoozing!). He’s also very helpful in the kitchen, especially when it comes to “pre-washing” the dishes before the dishwasher goes on!
This handsome boy loves to take his collar off inside for a big satisfying neck scratch, and when he’s especially happy or excited, he gets a sweet little “jitter jaw” that will melt your heart.
Austin would love a calm, peaceful home with someone who understands his quirks - are you that person?
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
