Missy is a sweet, sensitive girl who has had a loving start to life growing up on acreage, but the big wide world is still quite new to her. Coming into care has been a big adjustment, and she is looking for a patient and understanding home that can help build her confidence at her own pace.

She has a gentle nature and will bond to people quickly. When transitioning into her new home, she will need someone who is patient and will help her adjust to the change.

While she's not overly interested in toys or enrichment just yet, this may change as she settles into a home. In the meantime, she'll benefit from other forms of mental stimulation suited to her working breed nature, such as daily walks, scatter feeding, or fun sniffing games in the yard.

Missy must be part of family life and included in day-to-day activities. She'll also need secure fencing with no gaps to keep her safe. She may enjoy the company of another calm dog (male or female), but a meet and greet will be required at the time of adoption.
