About Nala - 19 Month Old Border Collie X
Nala is the gentlest and most affectionate girl. She loves cuddling up to you. Everyone who meets Nala has been privy to her sweet temperament and leave wishing they could take her home themselves.
She came into care with Dog Rescue Newcastle when surrendered in August, having had puppies a few months prior. Now desexed (and the perfect patient), she is ready to find her very own forever family.
Nala would be a welcome addition to a loving relatively active person or family (with kids 12+). At 15 kgs, she is well-behaved and easy walking on the lead.
She is fine with the other dogs in her foster home, and as for the cats, she just looks sniffs and gets on with her day.
Since in care she has been a fast learner - now knowing and responding to basic commands. She is super smart - learning after just one walk on the pool blanket (with subsequent wet feet) that it is best that she walks around the pool with the other dogs, sniffing plants & enjoying outdoors. Her favourite toy is a Kong that rolls on the floor.
She is house-trained and sleeps all night in her bed, though would love to be cuddled up to you.
Nala is in foster care in Rankin Park, NSW. Her adoption fee is $700, and she is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms.
