About Minnie
Meet the beautiful Minnie, queen of comfort, cuddles, and cheeky charm.
Minnie is a seven year old French bulldog who weighs in at a delightful 10.5 kilograms and stands proud at 31cm tall, making her the perfect compact companion.
Minnie's came into care as a private surrender, through no fault of her own and is now looking for a loving home where she can truly shine as the one and only dog in your life.
Minnie is children friendly, and as she's your typical Frenchie she will love to snuggle with them, get pats and from time to time climb over them as well as bump them with her butt.
While Minnie has lived with other dogs in the past, Minnie much prefers the spotlight all to herself and can become reactive when sharing her space, so she’s best suited to a home where she can rule the roost solo (so please note no other dogs in the home)
Minnie is untested with cats, although since she's quite the Diva and prefers her humans to all to herself, we will air on the side of caution and say a big No to cats or pocket pets.
Minnie is toilet trained and happily uses a doggy door like the proud Diva she is.
While Minnie's never been crate trained, she’s a smart little cookie and could easily adjust to new routines if needed.
Minnie enjoys a daily stroll, happily walking up to 4-5 kilometers a day, (temperatures permitting) although she does like to set her own pace and can pull on the lead, especially when other dogs are around - definitely not dog parks and catch ups for this little potato!
Minnie's not a fan of canine chit-chat and prefers her walks without the company of other dogs around (antisocial around other dogs being walked)
This little lady has average energy levels, and while she loves getting out and about, she’s equally content curled up beside you, enjoying all the love and attention she can get.
Minnie is quiet and doesn't bark unnecessarily, which makes her a peaceful presence in the home.
Her favorite place in the house is right next to her human, and her ultimate idea of bliss is playing a game of fetch followed by a good cuddle session.
Minnie is motivated by toys and affection, and her greatest joy is simply being close to you.
Minnie is your true Velcro-dog with a big heart and an even bigger personality.
Minnie's ideal home would be a calm, stable, and full of love with someone who understands her need for space when it comes to other animals, to let Minnie live her best Diva life as your one and only.
If you're looking for a Queen who will adore you endlessly, keep you entertained with her cheeky Diva expressions, and snuggle up like you are her true love, then Minnie might just be your perfect match.
Minnie's loyal, loving, and ready to be your one and only.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
