Wesley

Wesley came in with his siblings as part of our first "last litter program" litters. This means that the kittens were surrendered to us, and we also desex the mother at the rescue's expense to stop the cycle of unwanted litters.

Wesley was surrendered as a barn cat so it took him a little bit of time to learn to trust people. However, he now acknowledges that cuddles are actually quite nice. Whether it is on the bed or in your arms, Wesley will purr to show he is content and comfortable with you by his side. He has gained a lot of confidence since coming into care, and he continues to gain more each day that he is in care.

Wesley gets along well with other cats. He loves to zoom around and play with the other kittens in his foster home. Dogs take a little more time to get used to. However, after just two weeks in care he was playing rough and tumble with the resident puppy. His foster home consists of two large dogs which he tolerates and a small breed puppy. He also gets along well with the children in the house.

Please note: Wesley will be adopted with a desexing contract. This contract states that he will be desexed at the age of four months. The desexing cost is included in his adoption fee as this cost will be paid for by Second Chance Companions.
