About Lilly
Meet Lily the super friendly greyhound.
Lily just loves hugs and cuddles. She also loooves going for her morning and afternoon walks, and gets a bit bossy if she doesn’t get both. She also loves her toys and puzzles, and doing zoomies in the backyard. This snuggly girl will spend most of her day snoozing near whoever is home (after rearranging her bed until it is just right). She is good in the car, will jump down (but can’t jump up yet).
Lily is a very energetic dog, and will let you know if she hasn’t expended enough
energy! She’s quite happy to run around the backyard with a toy or ball (and did we mention she loves her walks).
Lily's perfect day starts off with a good breakfast, sardines are the best! A quick snooze then a long walk. A stop at a cafe would be great if it included some treatos, then back home for a lay in the sun on the grass.
Lily's ideal home is one with a yard for her to run freely, where she can enjoy zoomies and sunbathing. She needs a household where someone is home often, as she craves companionship and likes to snooze near her people. She is great with children and adults, but would be best in a dog-free home. She loves to be stimulated and challenged and could be trained very easily by her forever family.

STEP 1 – ENQUIRE & EOI FORM:

If the greyhound you have applied for is unavailable or unsuitable, we can match you with a suitable greyhound. We may have a hound in foster care who might be well suited to your family.
STEP 2 – LET'S CHAT:
We'll phone you to discuss suitability, clarify any points of your application and chat process and next steps.
STEP 3 – HOUSE CHECK & MEET + GREET:
We'll come to you! The meet + greet is conducted at the same time that a house check is carried out. The meet + greet is the day that your newly adopted greyhound will be able to stay on with you.
Our adoption fee is $375.00 and must be paid before the meet + greet, and prior to starting your 3 week trial. Support from our team is freely available. If you have any issues, we urge you to contact us to try and work through them, as all rescue greyhounds have some period of adjustment.
If after the 3 week trial, you feel that you need to return the greyhound, we will refund your adoption fee (less a $50 administration fee), upon return of the dog and all paperwork and other items that the dog was adopted with.
All of our hounds are adopted out with the following:
> Collar, lead & coat
> Certificate of sterilisation & vaccination
> Flea & worm treated
> Care information for your newly adopted greyhound
> Access to our private Facebook page for foster carers, volunteers and adopters of our hounds. A community with invaluable advice and support!
