Poppy, the cat friendly greyhound

Poppy is a happy-go-lucky girl who is not only cat friendly, but also dog friendly! She is currently in a foster home with a greyhound, greyhound x wolfhound and two cats. She loves a good cuddle and has the cutest wiggle when you talk to her.

Being only 3 years young, Poppy is a playful greyhound that would benefit from having a backyard to do zoomies in. She loves her daily walks and is getting better and better on the lead. In busier spots she can get a little excited on the lead, but with a few minutes in a quieter area she settles nicely. Poppy's favourite place is the beach and she is an absolute water baby!

While in foster care, Poppy has been a wonderfully easy housemate, happily sharing her space with the resident pets and humans. She enjoys mealtimes without fuss, and as with all dogs, we recommend giving her a calm, separate space to eat and letting her finish her food undisturbed.

Poppy has also mastered timber floorboards including timber stairs. She currently sleeps in a separate room on her own and is able to hold her bladder overnight.

Poppy hasn't been tested with young children and given her bouncy nature, we feel she will be better suited to a home without kids or kids older than 10 years old.

Poppy really enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely thrive with a confident canine friend who enjoys playtime, though she could also settle well in the right home with plenty of human companionship.me.

Poppy is a beautiful greyhound with an amazing temperament and her future home will be very lucky to have her!
