Lizzie is a shy but incredibly affectionate young girl who's still learning to feel safe in the world. Under-socialised and easily overwhelmed, she takes time to trust-but once she does, she blossoms into a loving little lap dog who adores cuddles and being close to her person.
Lizzie has shown some fear around men, so it's important that she meets all members of the household during the adoption process. She may be suited to a home with calm, respectful children and would thrive in a quiet, patient environment where she can build confidence at her own pace.
She would do best with someone who is home often, as she finds comfort in companionship. Lizzie may also benefit from the presence of a calm, older dog to help guide and reassure her.
