About Checkers
Meet Checkers, a big-hearted feline with an even bigger presence! We're convinced that his impressive size is merely a vessel for the immense love he has to offer. Checkers needs a minute or two to warm up, beginning shy and curious, but watch how quickly he becomes your best friend with a few well-placed chin scratches.
Once he's comfy, Checkers transforms into an affectionate cuddle bug that adores scratches and snuggles. His unique, chipmunk-like appearance, complete with distinctive coloring and adorable multicolored toes, makes him a remarkable sight to behold. While Checkers is a sight to see, his most charming qualities are his loving nature and inherent sweetness.
Checkers is also a sucker for treats, particularly anything creamy, which makes it easy to win him over with a combination of tasty snackysnacks and plenty of scritchyscratches. His gentle-hearted demeanor and love of attention make him an excellent companion, ready to share his cozy companionship with a loving family. If you're looking for a cat who's the complete package — loving, sweet, and pretty to boot — Checkers is the guy for you!

Please note - at Rocky Roads Rescue we do not do single kitten adoptions. Please complete some research into 'single kitten syndrome' to understand why . Your new family member will either need a cat or a cat friendly dog to be friends with and keep them company. Consider adopting a pair of kittens to grow up together if you do not have a companion at home for your new addition - we do a discounted bonded fee for pairs.

⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
