NOTE: You are unable to meet Sash until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Sash in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you. 

WEIGHT:

What I need in my new home: 

* Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
 
* Further training with basic doggie manners 

* To be allowed inside with my family and not left outside 24/7 with no interaction.

* A calm dog would be the best housemate for me. But, I LOVE people, so I'm just as happy being an only dog getting all your love and attention for myself
 
* I enjoy the company of other dogs my own size but at the shelter I’m NOT overly keen on bigger dogs, they are a bit scary

* A cat may be ok with a slow introduction. 

* Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) 

* Lots of toys and mental stimulation 

* A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean 

* A family who promises to keep me well-groomed and brush me regularly so I’m always looking and feeling my best 

* Lots of love and attention 

* I can get a bit bouncy when I’m excited, small kids that are used to bouncy dogs and older children who will be involved with my training should be ok.

* I can be shy at first, so I need a family who’ll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time 

* TRAINING TRAINING TRAINING. It's ESSENTIAL I receive training in all aspects of my life so I can be the best dog I can be when I'm older. 

* SOCIALISATION is as important for me as it appears I've led a very sheltered life and can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost my confidence 

My best features: 

* I have had some basic obedience training, I can sit, and am a generally well-mannered dog 

* I love attention and having snuggles with my humans 

* I walk well on lead 

* Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs 

* I am crate trained

* Well mannered 

Where I need to improve / Training required:

* I seem to be nervous of other dogs, so taking me place where I'll interact with dogs in a controlled environment will help me learn to not fear them anymore.

* I am shy at first in new environments so will require a family who will take their time allowing me to settle in and continue with my socialization
