On Hold
About Royce
ROYCE IS ON HOLD. NO MORE ENQUIRIES AT THIS STAGE PLEASE.
Royce is a black (with a splash of white)Toy Poodle cross Terrier and is just 6 months of age and I'm guessing his weight to be approx. 6kg. Now ready for his new, loving home, he is a real little cutie pie, very affectionate and loves to follow you around everywhere. He is very inquisitive, still learning about life and all that it has in store for him.
He would love a retired family that would shower him with plenty of love and attention. He enjoys being around his foster carer, follows her around whenever he gets the opportunity.
Royce has a short coat (more terrier style) so it shouldn't shed much at all and he won't need any expensive grooming appointments. He is an intelligent little boy, but will benefit from some extra training. He spends his days up on a country property where there are lots of other dogs, farm animals - horses, chickens etc.
Like all puppies, Royce has plenty of energy, loves getting into mischief, and has a big fenced-in run to tear around in during the day.
He will make a wonderful companion for the right person, with a life expectancy of some 12-15 years ahead of him.
Royce is ready to go to his new home now and we are looking forward to finding the perfect home for this little boy. Please Note: Royce needs a yard to run around in and is not suitable for home units, townhouses or villas.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
The first step is to phone or email Midcoast Dog Rescue Inc. for assessment regarding prospective ownership and pet suitability.
Adoption Application forms must be completed.
A property inspection will be carried out on properties in the Port Macquarie area so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you’ve selected. Proof of home ownership will be required. If renting your home, a letter from the owner’s agent confirming that the pet is allowed will be required.
A 2 week trial period commences on the day of adoption. If, for any reason, the dog is returned to Midcoast Dog Rescue within the trial period, the total adoption fee paid will be refunded.
All Midcoast Dog Rescue animals come desexed, microchipped, vaccinated (up to date), vet checked ,wormed, flea and tick treated.
.......................
Midcoast Dog Rescue Inc. is trying to expand its foster carer network so that we can help more dogs in need. This is a very rewarding experience and suits a variety of people. Some people, for whatever reason, are unable to make a permanent commitment to a dog, a commitment which can last for up to 15 years. Others use the fostering experience as an interim measure before committing to permanently owning a dog. If you think you could be interested in becoming a foster carer, either on a long-term or a short-term basis, and would like more information please contact Nigel on 6584 4992 or Wendy on 6584 7027.
