Zivita is a one-year-old Maltese Terrier cross who has already shown incredible courage. She came into care after a puppy farm shutdown and arrived very frightened, unsure of people and the world around her. In just three short weeks of foster care, Zivita has made huge progress — she now wags her tail, approaches those she trusts, and is learning that life can be full of kindness.

This sweet girl spends much of her day happily snoozing on the couch and would love a calm home where she can continue to grow in confidence. Zivita would really benefit from having a gentle, friendly mentor dog by her side to show her the way.

She is still nervous about walking on a lead and will need patient encouragement to feel safe outside. When people come into the house, Zivita may bark at first, but she quickly settles and is proving to be a delightful little companion.

Zivita’s perfect family will be understanding, patient, and ready to celebrate the small but wonderful milestones she achieves along the way. With love and time, this special girl will reward you with her trust and the joy of watching her blossom.
