About Rover

If you're ready for your home to sparkle with a whole a tonne of Golden Retriever hair, then you're in luck. Rover is ready and rearing to go and find his new forever family to love and adore.
This golden boy of The Lost Dogs Home has quickly become a fan favourite in his short time here, but we cannot wait to see him thrive in his new forever home. Rover is a big boy (the vets have said a little bit too big... rude) so his new family will need to ensure they keep the activity high and the treats low (at least for a little while) to help him shed some extra winter kilos.
When we say Rover is the golden boy, we mean this in both his personality and behaviour. Rover is suitable to go to a family of any and all ages. He can be a little jumpy so his new family will need to ensure they work on some force-free training with him to help him learn to keep his feet on the ground. Any children will need to be present for the meet and greet before Rover can go home.
Rover is not only a man of the people but dogs too. He will happily share his new family and domain with a well-matched canine companion who is equally ready to run and play for most of the day. Any resident canines must come to the shelter and meet him first before he can go home to make sure they are a perfect fit.
If your heart is slowly being covered in golden fur, then waste no time and come on in to meet Rover today!
