About Max
Meet Max, an adorable 4-month-old poodle mix who is on the lookout for a welcoming new family. Max is a sweet-natured little boy who warms up to people once he feels settled and loved. He starts off a bit quiet and shy, but with patience and gentle encouragement, you'll see his true playful and affectionate personality emerge.
Though young, Max has shown potential for becoming a wonderful companion. He's a quick learner who will thrive with some basic training and guidance, making him the perfect match for someone willing to invest a little time to raise a best friend for life.
Max is sociable and gets along well with other dogs, and he’s even open to making feline friends in a multi-pet household. He would do well in a home where he can have plenty of playtime with his animal companions to develop his skills and personality further. Whether he's romping around in the yard or curling up on the couch, Max will cherish every moment spent by your side.
Envision slow strolls and comforting evenings with little Max, as he grows and develops into a devoted companion, eager to share many delightful adventures and heartwarming cuddles. Bring Max into your life, and you will find not just a pet, but a loyal friend.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
