Meet Empress,
All hail Empress Chomp (aka Chomperella)
A fiercely fabulous feline with a mind of her own and a royal reputation to uphold.
Yes, she used to be a bit of a chomper in her youth, hence the name, but these days she's matured into a more refined Empress who prefers toys over toes. She may be the most independent of her siblings (Darren and Monroe), but make no mistake: when she wants affection, she’ll claim it like a true queen.
Empress is equal parts cautious and curious. She’s the type who watches from a distance first, then dives in paws first once she’s sure it’s worth it. Interactive play is her jam, especially if it involves plush toys, pom poms, or a feather wand.
She gets along with other cats but does like to assert her status when food or her favourite toy is involved, with an adorable little growl to let everyone know she means business.
What the Empress commands:
- Interactive play sessions, preferably on a schedule
- Plush toys, pom poms, and plenty of entertainment
- Affection – but on her terms (no peasants may disturb the throne without permission)
She’ll thrive in a home that respects her independent nature but still spoils her with love, fun, and a comfy lap when the time is right. Think of her as the elegant boss babe of your home; strong, sweet, and just a little bit sassy.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
