Meet Fenton

Fenton is a playful pup with a big love for water if there’s a splash around, you can bet he’ll be in it! He’s expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, making him a great fit for a family who enjoys both playtime and cuddles.

At first, Fenton can be a little shy, but once he feels safe, his fun side shines through. Give him some space to run and you’ll see him bouncing happily around, showing off his cheeky, joyful personality.

Both he and his brother enjoy their toys and a good tussle, keeping themselves entertained before heading back to their humans for attention. With their affectionate and playful nature, the boys would make wonderful additions to a family who is ready to welcome the fun and love they bring.

Fenton is living in foster care, where he’s learning what home life is all about. This means we know his personality well and can help guide his new family in setting him up for success.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.
