Nature
For those of you who don't know me yet, my name is Soren and I'm a former tough-nut street cat turned snuggle bunny, who is learning the ropes to domesticated life. If you're looking to add the most special fluff ball to your family, then please read on...

My life started off in the way most stray cat’s lives begin: cold, hungry and alone. Thankfully one of the Angels whisked me away to safety, gave me somewhere warm to rest my head, and made sure my tummy never rumbled again.

It hasn't been an easy time adjusting to this new life. For the first few months, I was terrified of my pawrents and would hiss at them until they left me alone. Then, one day, out of nowhere, something changed. I put on my big boy boots and decided not to be afraid anymore. That was when my incredibly beautiful nature started to shine through.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Since being in care, I have been surrounded by a number of other foster kitties and get on well with them. I am always interested when one walks by or comes to say hello. I'm a very gentle and respectful little guy when it comes to the other kitties, and hopefully there will be one or two in my new home who will help continue to build my confidence.

My pawrents aren't sure if I've met dogs or children before, but they think I'll do better with the older and more gentle kind who will treat me well and respect my boundaries.

Likes / Dislikes
I'm a ridiculously placid and laid back little guy once I start to relax and settle into my new environment. In the beginning, I will be timid and frightened of everything. Loud noises, sudden movement - anything unexpected, and I will find the nearest place to hide.

My Foster Mama says the way to my heart is through food, in particular those Dine creamy treats. I will go from a stranger to your best friend in ten seconds flat.

Other things I love include head boops, eating, chin scratches, being brushed (especially with the dustpan brush!), eating, exploring new surroundings and did I mention eating yet? Once I really start to trust you, I will even let you cradle me in your arms like a baby.

My PURR-fect home would be with a kind, loving family who have the time and patience to give a former street kitty the beautiful life he deserves. I am such a sweet little boy and, in the right home, will blossom into the most perfect cat you will ever meet.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Soren please come and meet him at PETstock Baldivis this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. He will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.

Medical Notes: Soren had cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. He was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.
