Dusty is a young boy with lots of energy and a love of cuddles. Dusty is looking for a family where he is included in all the action and given lots of attention.

Dusty loves to snuggle and give kisses, especially if he’s allowed in the bed. Dusty loves to chase a ball, and nearly always brings it back, he loves chew toys and tug of war. In classic cattle dog fashion, Dusty loves to run and has been an excellent jogging partner to his foster dad.

As a young pup Dusty is still learning his manners on leash but he’s got the basic commands down. Dusty loves to play with other dogs, and gains a lot of confidence when other dogs are around, but he can be overly excited so any doggy friend would need to be able to handle a playful puppy.

Dusty experiences some initial anxiety when separated from his people, but calms down quickly. When left alone Dusty isn’t destructive and doesn’t try to escape.

Dusty can be a little mouthy and doesn’t know his own strength, so he’d do better with older and dog savvy children. Dusty is untested with cats and smaller animals.
