About Nami
Hi there! My name’s Nami, and I’m a 5-month-old domestic short hair with a heart that’s finally starting to feel safe. I didn’t have the easiest start to life, but thanks to some kind humans who believed in me, I’ve learned that not all things are scary — and that soft blankets and head scratches are actually pretty great.
I’m still growing into my confidence, and I like to do things on my own terms. If I’m feeling a little overwhelmed or unsure, I really appreciate having a quiet space to retreat to until I feel ready to come out again. But once I trust you (and I will, with patience), I’ll show you my sweet side — I have a very gentle purr and a curious streak that comes out when I feel safe.
I think I’d do best in a calm home, with people who understand that cats like me sometimes need a little extra room to be ourselves. I’d prefer a household without young kids (under 12), just so I don’t get too startled or overwhelmed. I’m still figuring the world out, and I do best when things are predictable and kind.
I can’t wait to find someone who sees me for who I am and who’s happy to let me grow at my own pace. I’ve come such a long way already — I just need someone who’s willing to take the next steps with me. Could that be you?
I am currently in a lovely foster home while I wait for my new family to come along. If you are interested in meeting me please apply by clicking the link below and filling out an expression of interest form.
