About Cooper
Meet Cooper, an endearing poodle mix ready to make his way into your heart with his gentle and sweet disposition. While he may start off a bit anxious, there's so much love and adventure he’s eager to share. With a little patience, you'll discover a furry friend who's blossoming into a confident companion.
Cooper's poodle heritage gives him an adorable look and a treat-motivated spirit that makes training both fun and rewarding! He is learning to be on lead and harness, so a patient owner willing to reinforce positive behaviors will find him eager to learn. Cooper is friendly and inquisitive, often greeting new friends with gentle sniffs. Though he might give a little bark at cats, he is generally well-meaning and simply needs guidance to better understand them.
In a social setting, Cooper's calmer side is brought out by smaller dogs, whom he enjoys hanging around with, while he gains confidence regarding larger dogs. He may still bark occasionally for attention or out of nervousness, but with continued support, he’s becoming braver each day.
Cooper is looking for a loving family who will commit to helping him grow and explore the world around him. With his curious sniffs, cute poodle hops, and an eagerness to please, Cooper is ready to become a treasured member of your household. If you're ready to help him come out of his shell and join you on this adventure called life, Cooper will be an incredibly loyal and cuddly companion.
Coopers weight is only 3.6kg
Medical notes
Cooper had dental and extractions.
He had bilateral yeast infection in both ears which was treated on the 4.9.25
He went back to the vet for 2nd treatment. Infection has improved. Being a poodle this will need to be monitored.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
