About Meena
How newborn Meena came to be found at a church, whether she was dumped, what happened to her mum, we will never know. But she was in a critical state, luckily taken to a vet for treatment before arriving at our shelter. She needed lots and lots of care to be the happy and thriving girl she is today! Meena is still living in the house, but gradually spending more and more time outside. She's still on 3 bottles a day. Meena is very attached to her human mum, and can be shy meeting new people. However if visitors are patient and give her space, she will go up to them and find her confidence. Meena walks well on a lead, and is eating solids now. She is at the right age to bond closely with her new family, especially while she's still taking milk.
Meena is looking for a very special home. She will need other goat friends, very secure fencing, and shelter. She has met the sheep and goats here, and is very friendly and playful. Meena will not grow horns. A lot of time and love has gone into this little goat, so a forever home that will come close to how she's been loved is very important to us.
Meena has two markings by her mouth, which make her look like she has fangs! Her front leg that has white, also has the markings of a black heart on it, which we think makes her even more special.
