Meet Lola - A Gentle Soul Ready for Her Fresh Start

Lola is a sweet and sensitive young pup looking for a calm, loving home where she can truly become part of the family. With her adorable Corgi-Dachshund charm and gentle nature, she's sure to steal your heart-she just needs a little time and patience to feel safe in her new world.

Lola has lived a very quiet life so far, with limited exposure beyond her backyard. Because of this, she may be nervous in new environments or when meeting new people. She'll do best in a peaceful, understanding home with an owner who's home more often than not to give her the time, companionship, and encouragement she needs to build confidence.

She is crate trained and finds comfort in having her own space, so continued crate use is recommended to help her settle and feel secure. Lola has lived with another dog before and could potentially enjoy a canine companion again-with a proper meet-and-greet at the time of adoption. Although, she has showed more interest towards humans rather than other dogs while in shelter.

While she's still young and has so much potential, Lola missed out on some early socialisation and will benefit from slow, positive exposure to new experiences. She's not suited to long hours alone-when left for extended periods in the past, she became bored and resorted to digging or chewing outdoors.
