Purdy is a bold, bright-eyed little adventurer with a big personality! Originally arriving at the shelter as a solo 4-month-old kitten, he thrived in his foster home!

Purdy loves people - seeking out pats, cuddles, and a front-row seat by the window to watch the world go by. He's an affectionate and social kitty who wants to be where the action is!

Purdy is all about play, play, and more play - and he's still learning what's okay and what's a bit too much. Like many solo kittens without littermates or role model cats, he's still working on his "play manners." Sometimes, his excitement gets the better of him and he may nip or scratch during what he sees as playtime.

His foster carers have seen improvement with consistent, positive training and daily enrichment. With the right play outlets and structure, Purdy is already learning to channel his energy in more appropriate ways.

Purdy is looking for a home that will:
• Understand the needs of a high-energy kitten
• Provide structured daily playtime (he especially loves wand toys!)
• Offer lots of enrichment and rotating toys to keep his mind and body active
• Continue to help him learn appropriate play through positive reinforcement
• Be patient and consistent while he continues to grow and learn

A home without small children would be ideal due to his energetic play style.

Purdy absolutely thrives on enrichment activities. Puzzle feeders, scheduled wand toy sessions, and catnip toys are some of his favourites. He gets bored easily, so toy rotation and mental stimulation are key to his happiness - and will help reduce any unwanted behaviours like rough play.

Purdy is a truly lovable kitten who is eager to bond with his people. He's affectionate, curious, smart, and absolutely full of life. With time, patience, and a little structure, he's going to make an incredible lifelong companion. He's not a couch potato - he's your next adventure buddy, playmate, and window-watching partner.
