About Frida
🐾 Second Chance September: Meet Frida 🐾
To adopt means recognising that not every animal comes to us as a playful kitten or a bundle of endless energy. Some arrive carrying stories we cannot fully know, with cautious hearts shaped by experience. They are past the early days when everything is new, yet still have so much to give, a love that is quieter, trust that is earned slowly, and companionship that deepens over time. Choosing to bring one of these animals into your life is not just welcoming a pet but saving a life. For many older kittens, adoption is the difference between spending a lifetime in foster care or finally finding a place to call home. It is a commitment to patience, understanding, and discovering a connection that is quietly powerful and deeply rewarding.
Frida is a confident and charming 9-month-old who sparkles, just like her namesake, Frida Kahlo. She's growing into her personality more every day, blossoming into an affectionate and loving companion. She will trot over for pats and give you the cutest little headbutts to ask for more.
Frida has a talent for finding the cosiest nooks to relax in, her favourite being a soft towel tucked away on a shelf where she curls up to recharge. Her calm and gentle presence brings a soothing energy to the home.
Frida is definitely a cat's cat. She adores the company of her foster catmates and can often be found dashing through the house in joyful zoomies, or snuggling up with them after playtime. She's also got a playful streak and loves batting around a little mouse toy or earning a lick treat with her signature charm.
This special girl is ready for a home that will appreciate her sweet, steady nature and let her continue to flourish at her own pace.
Frida's journey is one of quiet strength and growing joy. She's ready to bring her soft affection, playful spirit, and the occasional cheeky sprint into the heart of a loving home.
