About Tippa (66870)
Tippa is a uniquely beautiful five-year-old Beagle x Labrador who's ready for a second chance at the love and life he truly deserves. Weighing in at 20kg, Tippa was surrendered to our care after being the wrong match for a busy household with young children. Sadly, he spent most of his life as a backyard dog, rarely walked, with little training or socialisation. As a result, he's missed out on a lot - but his gentle heart is still very much open to the right person willing to guide him. Tippa can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar environments, simply because the world is still such a new and overwhelming place for him. But with patience, kindness, and consistency, he's shown he has the ability to form strong, trusting bonds. He needs someone who can help him build confidence and teach him that the world is a safe place. A calm, structured home where he'll get plenty of scent-filled walks, mental stimulation, and affection will help him thrive. Because he's never lived indoors, Tippa is still learning about toilet training, so he'll need guidance in that area too. He would do best in a home with respectful, dog-savvy children aged eight and up who understand how to give him space and time. Tippa may also be able to live with a friendly, quiet dog who respects his boundaries, and possibly even a cat, provided introductions are slow and carefully managed. Tippa is healthy and ready to find his forever home - now all he needs is someone willing to show him what it means to be truly loved. He isn't an instant best friend, but with time and trust, he'll become the most loyal companion you could ask for. If you think you could be the one to help Tippa blossom, we'd love to hear from you. Come meet this sweet boy and give him the fresh start he's been waiting for.
