About Penny
Penny is a little ball of love waiting to become a cherished member of your family. As a Bull Arab x Kelpie, she will grow into a medium to large loyal companion.
At about 12 weeks old, Penny's shy nature is part of her charm, but once she trusts you, she becomes your most loyal and dedicated friend.
She is a smart and eager learner, ready to master new commands with a little patience and positive reinforcement. Penny enjoys her daily playtime and believes that a good game of fetch followed by a cozy cuddle is the key to a happy life.
Given her critical age for development, puppy school is highly recommended to help her continue to build confidence and positive relationships with other animals and people.
If you're looking for a dog who will fill your home with quiet devotion, endless affection, and a playful spirit, Penny is the one for you.
To book a meet and greet with our lovely girl Penny please do reach out to BARC on 5441-2209 to book a meet and greet appointment or via e-mail at barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
