NOTE: You are unable to meet Sophie until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Sophie in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family and not left outside 24/7 with no interaction.
• A submissive, calm & friendly dog is the best housemate for me. But, I LOVE people, so I'm just as happy being an only dog getting all your love and attention for myself
• SOCIALISATION is as important for me as it appears I've led a very sheltered life and can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost my confidence
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• No cats or pocket pets – I didn’t show much interest in either when meeting them at the shelter but if they had moved, I think it would be a fun game of chase.

My best features:
• Love to snooze on the couch or in my own comfy bed on the floor
• Once I’ve settled, I do love a good snuggle on the couch
• Food motivated
• I can sit
• Just a beautiful girl who would make a great companion

Where I need to improve / Training required:
• I know how to sit but that's it, so further basic training is recommended
• I walk well on lead once settled, unless I want to go in another direction, then I tend to pull harder, so a harness would be helpful
