About Kiko
⨠Meet Kiko â¨
Kiko is a bright and beautiful Japanese Spitz. She is affectionate, intelligent and has a sweet, silly side that will melt your heart. Kiko loves to be adored and will happily give that love right back. She enjoys belly rubs, snuggles with her favourite people and will happily snooze by your side. Sheâs also a great nap buddy as her carer often takes a day nap and Kiko curls up right alongside for some extra cuddles đ
Kiko can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and becomes a loyal, affectionate companion. She was left in a pound before rescue, yet has adjusted beautifully to family life and is a wonderfully behaved girl.
She is fully toilet trained, uses a doggy door and pee pads, and is calm and settled indoors. Kiko isnât yappy and doesnât bark unnecessarily. She has excellent manners and already knows sit, drop, stay, wait, come, look and even âfind it.â She has a gentle level of energy, enjoys her daily walk, and absolutely loves having a backyard where she can potter around and relax.
Kiko would thrive in a quiet home where she can feel safe and loved. She is best suited as the only dog so she can have all the attention to herself đ She hasnât shown aggression to children but would do best in an adult only, peaceful home. Retirees or those who work from home would be ideal, as she adores company.
Kiko takes a small monthly anxiety medication, but this is mainly due to her current apartment environment which has a high density of other dogs and lots of noise. Her vet believes that in a calmer home with more space and fewer dogs around, she would likely be able to reduce and even come off the medication completely.
Kiko is playful, affectionate, cheeky, and a true sweetheart who will make you laugh with her antics and melt your heart with her cuddles. If youâre looking for a calm, loving, and loyal companion who loves snuggles and naps as much as walks and playtime, Kiko could be the perfect girl for you đ
