About Ravioli
Ravioli is exactly what his name suggests — a tiny parcel of deliciousness! This little guy is smart, affectionate, playful, and loyal to the core. Since coming from a rural pound, he’s embraced the big wide world with confidence and curiosity, quickly proving himself to be an all-round little legend.
True to his Jack Russell roots, Ravioli is highly trainable, especially since he’s super food-motivated — he already walks beautifully on lead, has great recall, and responds well to cues like “no”. He can sit, wait at roads, and absolutely melts into your lap for cuddles, belly rubs, and kisses (lots and lots of kisses!).
He has a sweet little quirk, whenever you ask him to sit, he does a tiny jump before settling his butt down. It’s the cutest thing you’ll ever see.
🏡 Ideal Home:
Ravioli is fully crate trained, sleeps through the night, and is toilet trained, what a star! He’d do well in an apartment or a house, as long as there’s a comfy spot to snooze and some squeaky toys to keep him busy.
As he's still adjusting to life outside the pound, a home where someone is around often or has flexible work hours would help him settle. He’d also make an amazing office dog — spreading Ravioli serotonin to everyone he meets.
⚡ Energy Level:
After a morning walk and breakfast, Ravioli is content to nap, self-entertain with toys, and check in occasionally for a scratch and a smooch. He’s got a great balance of energy — ready for play and adventure, but also calm and content indoors.
He’d love to join his people on beach trips, bush walks, or zoomie sessions in open spaces where he can let that Jack Russell energy fly!
👶 Suitability to Children:
Ravioli has met kids as young as 3 on outings and happily accepts pats from strangers, no fear here! That said, as a lively and clever Jack Russell, he’d be best suited to dog-savvy children who understand how to engage with dogs respectfully.
🐶🐱 Other Pets:
Dogs: Ravioli walks calmly past other dogs and plays wonderfully with his foster sister. In fact he'd love a home with another fun little friend.
Cats: Not tested, but with a slow and respectful introduction, he may do well.
🐕🦺 Ready to Bring Ravioli Home?
Ravioli is affectionate, smart, well-mannered, and an absolute joy to have around. Whether he’s curled up behind your neck, snuggled in your lap, or showing off his bouncy little sit, he’ll bring endless love, laughs, and companionship to his forever home.

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
