About Poppy - 4 Month Old Border Collie X
Meet Poppy, your playful little cuddlebug! This sweet Border Collie X is full of joy, energy, and love.
About Poppy:
4 months old and growing into her paws. Playful and affectionate, with the sweetest nature. Poppy can be a little shy with new dogs at first, but once she warms up she would love a doggy buddy to play with. She loves to play, especially when she gets the zoomies, but she also loves cuddles!
She’s a bright pup who loves learning new things and is eager to please. She is very people-focused, making her the perfect balance of playful and loving.
She's toilet trained and already knows how to sit.
Best Home for Poppy:
* An active family who can give her plenty of attention and continue her puppy training and socialization.
* A yard to run and exercise.
* Another friendly dog would be ideal.
* Plenty of chew toys to keep her busy!
* Children 8+

Poppy's adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. She has been vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and is microchipped.
Poppy is in foster care in Thornton, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
