About Benji
If you’ve ever dreamed of having your own Red Dog — loyal, eager to please, funny, your personal shadow, and the best feet-warmer you’ll ever meet — then Benji could be your guy!
Benji is a young dog with a big heart and an even bigger smile. He loves being second-in-command to his person, joining in on daily activities, and being included in recreation time. With his drive and eagerness to learn, he’d shine as a sports dog — think agility, running, ball/sent games, or even Canine Cross.
This boy has love for an entire family, but like all true red dogs, he’ll pick his person — the one he’ll be most devoted to, leaning on for comfort, reassurance & direction as his confidence grows.
Benji is fantastic with kids, polite with other animals (even chickens!), and a respectful socialiser with dogs and strangers (once he has alerted you). He’s ball-mad, crate-trained (puts himself to bed when ready), and has the self-awareness to let you know when he’s feeling overstimulated.
He’s still developing his lead manners, but his recall is already excellent and he listens acutely to his people. With consistent training, he’ll be an absolute superstar.
Benji needs a home where he won’t be left to his own devices all day — he thrives when he’s given time, attention, and inclusion. Give him that, and he’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty, laughs, and love.
If you’re ready to live the best Red Dog life, Benji is ready to be by your side.
Benji is located in VIC.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
