Pablo's story is one of heartbreak, resilience, and hope. After wandering into a stray colony hungry and soaked from the rain, he was scanned for a microchip and his owners were contacted. Sadly, despite sharing seven years of his life with them, they chose not to take him back. Thankfully, Pablo was rescued just before the heavy rains arrived and given the second chance he so deserved. Now he's searching for a forever family who will cherish him for the rest of his life. 🧡
Despite everything he has been through, Pablo has never lost his gentle, trusting nature. He is the definition of a loyal companion, happiest when he's curled up beside you, making biscuits on your lap, or leaning against your leg asking for ear scratches. His favourite place is wherever his humans are, quietly keeping you company as you work, relax, or even stand guard outside the bathroom door.
Pablo has a calm and easy-going personality that makes him a wonderful companion. He enjoys chasing a wand toy, watching the world through the window, investigating the fridge whenever it's opened, and soaking up every cuddle he can get. At around 7kg, he's a big teddy bear who secretly loves being the little spoon during cuddle time, softly purring away while nestled beside you.
He's also an incredibly well-mannered gentleman. Pablo uses his litter tray beautifully, settles calmly in his carrier, enjoys being brushed, tolerates nail trims with ease, and happily learns his family's routine. He isn't demanding or overly energetic, instead offering the perfect balance of affection and independence. Whether he's quietly sitting beside you, rubbing his soft face against your hand, or giving the occasional gentle love nibble on your sleeve, Pablo has countless little ways of showing just how much he loves his people.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $62 on top of the above adoption price.
