About Ada
Ada is a beautiful long coat German Shepherd with a heart as soft as her fur. This gentle girl adores people and always tries her hardest to be the very best companion she can be. With her affectionate nature and soulful eyes, she’ll quickly win you over.
Ada is social around other German Shepherds and enjoys canine company, though she shines brightest when paired with a calm, friendly male dog. As a confident and dominant female, she’ll thrive in a home where her personality is respected and celebrated.
She would love a family who can give her plenty of love, guidance, and inclusion in daily life. In return, Ada will reward you with loyalty, companionship, and endless affection.
We always recommend to continue training when you take your dog home. Training doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be a fun experience for you both, it doesn’t have to take long and is a great way for you to bond with your new dog.
Ada has not been tested with cats or smaller dogs.
If you have recently owned a German Shepherd or large breed dog, and understand German Shepherd and think you have the commitment to give Ada a new home, then please click on the link "Enquire about Ada” and we will send you information about adopting a German Shepherd or go to our website and complete the application form.

If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet her. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney.

No known pre-existing conditions.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
