About Simon
Introducing Simon!
Simon is a Domestic Short Hair born 28th February 2023.
Simon was transferred to us from another facility. As they were coming close to being over capacity, they reached out to multiple rescues for help but unfortunately no one came forward for him. Knowing what his potential outcome would be, we brought him into our care to try to find him a beautiful & loving home.
Although Simon was very shy when he first arrived at the facility, he's now an incredibly affectionate, sweet, playful & cheeky boy. He enjoys sitting on his tower looking out the window & he LOVES his Dine liquid treats.
Simon is an incredibly playful boy and will play with almost anything. Currently his favourites are mouse shaped stuffed toys & small balls, however he also enjoys tunnels and will chase after ribbons & feathers.
While we have no children at the facility to test Simon with, we believe he could be suitable to live with children in the home.
While Simon hasn't been around other cats at the facility, we know he has previously been quite playful with them. We believe Simon could be rehomed with other feline friends, or be the spoilt only "child" at home.
Simon will be rehomed to a family who will keep him as an inside cat only.
Simon is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Simon, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
His adoption fee is $260 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Simon is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
