About Dolly
Are you looking for a best friend – someone that is happy to be in your personal space at all times? If the answer is yes – then look no further – Meet me - I’m Dolly the Pug!
I am 9 years and 3 months old
My foster mum has said do not let my age fool you - when I came into care i instantly showed the rescue that I was a happy twinkle in my eye pug girl!
I have come into care from a private surrender and all the rescue has fallen in love with me - i mean how you could not - at 9 years old, I am a beautiful, mature lady who is easy to please. All I need is human company and a short walk each day, and I will be fully content. I love everyone – adults, children and other dogs.
While I might not be up for crazy nights on the dancefloor i defintely have alot of love and life left in me (as long as i get my naps thru the day and night!)
I came into care 'a little overweight' but the rescue has been working with me to get that done and the daily walk has really helped.
I love going for a daily walk – either early morning or late afternoon. It’s a beautiful way to start my day or end my day (and also helps keep my weight in check – us pugs can sometimes need a little help in ensuring our appetites don’t outweigh our bodies!). I am well trained on a lead and will behave very well for you.
I am low maintenance as one of my favourite hobbies is sleeping. I am quiet girl who rarely barks, which may be due to my aging hearing or it's selective sometimes my foster mum says she is not sure but either way she loves me!
I am very well trained with my sleeping habits – I will happily sleep in my own bed. In my foster home, I sleep next to another dog. I will be happy to go to a home where I am the only dog (who doesn’t love being the centre of attention?) or I will happily get along with another small breed quiet dog.
I enjoy short bursts of play with my humans each day. I also play happily with my foster fur sibling as well as enjoy socialising with other dogs that I pass on my daily walk. I love a good tug toy and my soft squishy toys.
I love to spend a mixture of time indoors and outdoors during the day. I enjoy the fresh air and sniffing trees, and will also appreciate being able to snooze a lot during the day. If you need a friend to snuggle up at your feet and sleep while you are busy working from home during the day – then I am your lady!
One of my adorable quirks is that my tongue hangs out the side of my mouth – something that my foster mum says makes me even more adorable than I already am!
I am toilet trained and even super clever with living in an apartment – I have been trained to use wee mats out on the balcony.
I travel well in the car so please feel free to take me with you on your adventures – I am fabulous company!
I am 9.5 kilograms of pure love and am ready to find my fur-ever family, so if you are looking for a gentle, loving companion who will show you love, loyalty and endless cuteness everyday, then I might just be the lady for you! Please apply via the link below.

All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
