About Abby
Meet Abby, a sweet and gentle two-and-a-half-year-old Poodle who's on the lookout for a loving new family alongside her bonded friend, Charli. While she's a bit shy and quiet at the moment, Abby's nurturing personality shines through, and she is sure to blossom into an incredibly loving companion once she feels secure in her new environment.
Abby is seeking a calm home that doesn't include small children, where she and Charli can settle into a routine of peaceful, comforting companionship. Abby's gentle nature and initial shyness make her a perfect fit for someone who works from home or is retired, offering the time and presence she needs to build her confidence. She's proven to get along well with other dogs but is still learning about cats.
Although she is a little hesitant now, Abby is a smart pup who will benefit from basic and lead training. With patience and positive reinforcement, training sessions will be a rewarding experience for both you and Abby. Under your guidance, she will gain the confidence to show her true playful and affectionate nature.
Abby and Charli are looking forward to many cozy moments with their new family. They promise to bring gentle poodle love that will warm your heart. If you're ready to invite these two wonderful companions into your life, they are waiting with wagging tails!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
