About Butterfly
Butterfly is a soft, affectionate girl who's ready to flutter her way into your heart. Living in a calm, quiet home with a single full-time worker, Butterfly has proven to be a relaxed, well-adjusted companion. She settled in within a week and quickly picked up on the daily routine-she's a smart cookie!
Her day usually starts with breakfast and a wee break, then she's okay being home alone for up to 8 hours, as long as she has plenty of toys and treats to keep her company (and away from the furniture!). When her foster carer returns, she enjoys a walk, some couch cuddles, dinner, and then settles happily in her crate in the bedroom for a good night's sleep.
She's incredibly affectionate and especially adores belly rubs, she'll melt right into your hands. She's also shown kindness and curiosity toward new people, including a visitor in a wheelchair, who received a full dose of Butterfly cuddles and love.
Butterfly is still finding her confidence on walks. She can be a little shy and nervous, sometimes stopping to seek reassurance, but she responds beautifully to gentle encouragement and even offers a happy tail wag when you cheer her on. She's calm around other people and dogs, preferring to sniff and continue on her way.
She's just beginning her training journey and is learning commands like sit and down, and she's already mastered bedtime crate routine like a pro. With time and patience, this clever girl will shine.
Butterfly would thrive in a quiet, loving home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace and get all the cuddles she deserves. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion who'll love you unconditionally-Butterfly might be your perfect match.
Note: This dog is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another dog.
