Sméagol is a nearly 4 year old Bengal with a very curious and loving personality. Like most Bengals he is a gentle giant with a big heart and a lot of love to give.

Sméagol was well loved by his previous owner but sadly they had a change in living situation and could not longer look after him so they reached out to us to find him a new home. He comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.

Sméagol has a very gentle nature, he absolutely adores people and is always in the mood for attention. He loves a pat and a scratch, enjoys a cuddle and would love to sleep on your bed with you if you'll let him.

He also enjoys being picked up and smooched but he's a bit on the chunky side these days so good luck to anyone that tries haha.

Sméagol is very mellow, not alot fazes him, and he's generally happy to hang out and do his own thing then come track you down when he's in the mood for attention. He can be a bit shy at first but once he has a chance to settle into his new home you'll find yourself with a sweet and smoochy little gentleman on your hands.

He is also very cat social, having grown up with three other cats, so he would be fine in a multi-cat household. But he is also enjoying being the only cat in his foster home and enjoying having all of his foster mums attention all to himself.

He also enjoys play and chasing games so if you get the wand toys or balls out this will be a great way to bond.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
