About Lysandra and Aelin
*In foster care in Stanmore, Sydney*
Say hello to Lysandra and Aelin - a pair of bonded beauties who love to play together and balance each other's energies!
Lysandra (tortico) is the confident, athletic one of the duo - constantly running around and chasing her toys (and her sister!), but also a fan of a good head scratch. She'll occasionally put her games on pause to follow you around the house and supervise whatever you're doing. She's definitely the biggest purrer too, and very comfortable interacting with humans!
Aelin (white and ginger) brings a calmer presence, though she still gets the zoomies once in a while (especially during fun and games with Lysandra!). She loves to curl up on the couch or bed, or a sunny spot by the window, and rolls over for belly rubs with trusted humans. While her sister got the impressive purr, Aelin got the brains - she's even starting to recognize commands with a bit of training!
Both girls are fascinated by smells, and will sniff around the house to hunt down freshly washed laundry, candles, and any food you’re eating :) They're the perfect mix of playful, funny and independent, and ready to find their special home - could it be with you?
Like all Maggie's pets, Lysandra and Aelin are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: We're happy to pass the day relaxing and exploring together, so we're not super needy if you need to go out for work or social stuff. When you're home though, we do like to spend time with you! And we'll definitely need you to play with us for a little while every day. Those dangly rod toys won't dangle themselves!
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: Lysandra - I'm always on the move and ready for a game - of chase, wrestle or Find that Piece of Fluff From Earlier!
Aelin - I'm pretty laidback most of the time, preferring to lounge in warm, comfy spots while Lysandra gets up to mischief (though she sometime manages to rope me into a wrestling match).
At night we both tend to relax and hang out peacefully with our humans :)
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: We both react uneventfully to being patted and picked up, so family life might suit us? Lysandra would likely be OK with kids of any age, but Aelin might prefer older children who'll understand when she wants to be left alone.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We're each other's ride or die, but we don't have any experience with other pets at this stage.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
