About Kayak
*In foster care in Strathfield, Sydney*
Darling boy Kayak is the kind of kitten who’s always watching with curious eyes and those slightly-too-big ears that give him an adorably awkward charm :)
Kayak is a precious lap cat who purrs like a motorboat and soaks up affection and cuddles with happy gratitude. He's a huge foodie too which makes it easy to win his trust!
A calm and patient household will be perfect for Kayak, including families with children who know how to be gentle and respectful with cats. He can't wait to meet you, realise you're awesome and start showering you with all the love in his sweet heart!
Like all Maggie's pets, Kayak is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is with a patient human who'll respect my personal space, and give me all the time I need to settle in and relax. I'd also love regular cuddle time and lots of play sessions!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am half chill and half kitten-playful - the perfect balance!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I haven't met any children yet, I can't foresee any issues as long as they're kind and considerate.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I loved living with my brother in foster care so would easily settle in with a cat friend!
I haven't met any dogs at this stage.

No known pre-existing conditions.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
