About Red
• Currently living in a home
• Toilet trained
• Great with alone time
Hey there, the name is Red! Tall, fawn-tastic, and yes, I know I turn heads wherever I go. But don’t let my good looks fool you… I’m not just a pretty face (did you notice that perfect eyeliner though)!
For the last couple of months I have been living with a foster family and in that short time have convinced them of my fabulousness. But don’t take my word for it – here’s what they have to say about me:
"Red walks beautifully on lead, right beside you with no pulling. He is fully toilet trained and manages well with a consistent routine. Red gets along well with other dogs, shows polite interest and is easy to redirect. He has met children at a family gathering and was calm, gentle, and well-mannered." (Go me!).
"Red is comfortable being left alone for 3-8 hours with a toy, no signs of stress or vocalisation. He has no issues with resource guarding or sleep startle and enjoys low-impact play and enrichment activities. Red absolutely loves neck and belly scratches and spins excitedly at mealtimes." (I mean, who doesn’t, right?). "He is a sweet, affectionate boy who’s easy to have around and will absolutely fall in love with whoever feeds him!" Well, that's certainly true.
"Red could live with another dog (medium to large or greyhound) and is quite polite after a first initial rude sniff. He is quite silly in general but reads other dogs well."
Jeez, I sound like a total catch…. Oh wait, I am!
Oh one thing I should mention: while I love making friends with everyone, it's probably best I don't go to a home with young kids (over 12s only please!). It's not that I don't like them, but I can get a bit excitable sometimes and I wouldn't want to knock anyone over!
So, if you’re after a handsome, charming, slightly cheeky sidekick who can make you laugh, keep you company, and maybe steal a toy or two just to keep things interesting… pick Red!
