About Patch
Meet Patch, a wonderful 4 year-old Blue Heeler looking for a new family. He's got the intelligence and loyalty you’d expect from a cattle dog, coupled with a nature that makes him the perfect blend of affectionate and playful.
Patch is most at ease in wide open spaces. A rural home with a small acreage or quiet area on a large block would suit him best, especially if he has a canine companion to share his games with. At the dog park, Patch can be found playing well with others and making new friends. When visiting doggy day care, he fits right in and thoroughly enjoys the company of his furry pals.
At home, Patch is a well-mannered, content companion, happily lounging under his owner’s desk while she works. He thrives in a calm environment where the pace is more country than city. Patch has found that the city lifestyle is overwhelming, with all the bustling streets and city noises that come with it, proving a little too much for his quiet country-loving soul. However chickens and cats are much too tempting for him and Patch would just prefer a canine companion or two
Though not currently living with children, Patch is familiar with their energy and would likely fit right in with a family environment, given his upbringing surrounded by youngsters in his early years. He's house-trained, making him an adaptable and loving addition to the right home.
In sum, Patch is eager to find a family and environment that honour his country-loving spirit. If you have the space and the heart to embrace this loyal, good-natured dog, he’s ready to be your devoted friend.
