About Sunny
Meet Sunny!
This unusual looking fellow came into shelter from a regional pound. He had ended up there after being left in a yard with inadequate fencing. Bored & lonely, Sunny would take himself off for little excursions around the neighbourhood!
We know little about his past, but we can talk on what we have discovered about him whilst he has been in shelter. Sunny is a super sweet & affectionate boofy headed kind of guy! He loves his toys & is always ready to have a game: tug, fetch, soccer, whatever you want!
Sunny would love to be your new walking buddy. He is always happy to don his harness & stride out to explore his surroundings. He has nice leash manners, regularly checking in with you as you head out side by side.
An interesting mix of husky & bullmastiff, Sunny can be choosy about his dog friends & we think he'd be better as an only dog in the household. He'd rather not bother with other dogs & doesn't appreciate those over enthusiastic greeters that get up in your face!
Sunny would benefit from someone at home while he settles into his new environment. There have been a lot of changes in his life recently & he will need a bit of time to decompress from shelter life as well as get his bearings in a new home. He will thrive with patience, routine, predictability plus lots of toys & heaps of love!
Sunny has a beautiful personality & deserves a loving home where he will be a valued member of the family. He will certainly bring the sunshine into your life :)
