About Miss Piggy
*I WILL BE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY 30TH AUGUST AT THE PUPPY ADOPTION DAY HELD AT THE NORTH MELBOURNE LOST DOGS HOME.*
Our sweet little Miss Piggy has been LIVING IT UP in foster care prior to our puppy adoption event, and here's what her fabulous foster family had to say about this shining starlet-in-the-making...
"She is extremely cuddly but isn't the biggest fan of being left alone. She hasn't taken to crate training just yet, as she wants to be around her human friends all the time. We've tried to let her sleep in an open/unlocked kennel, but as she frets a little when we leave, she has been sleeping with us overnight. She seems to have a really calm and loving temperament otherwise but can be a bit much with our other dog, as she is a puppy and is still learning her manners and regulation."
Puppies require patience, routine and consistency. They are still learning about toilet training, how to be polite and how to be on their own. This little puppy is still young and needs guidance to grow and thrive. We recommend that they get put into puppy school to help with socialization as soon as possible. We also recommend that you use treats and toys to help reassure your puppy of the right way to be a dog.
All of our puppies are fed on premium Royal Canin food while at the Shelter and in foster. We recommend that you purchase a bag at the time of adoption (40% off from our friends at Royal Canin) so your new best friend can settle in to the home in the best possible way.
This little baby is still growing and learning so needs enrichment and things to keep them busy so they don't get bored at home.. that's when sneaky chewing can happen!
*Do I sound like the perfect fit for you and your family? Come and adopt me on Saturday the 30th of August!*
